About Us

Family Support for Fragile Beginnings… it’s what every new parent needs when they are suddenly and unexpectedly thrown into a world turned upside down by the hospitalization of their baby in the NICU.

Mission

Our mission is to develop hospital- and community-based programs that provide education and support for families with babies in the NICU, during their transition from hospital to home and in the event of an infant loss.

History

NICU Helping Hands was created in 2010 when we recognized an overwhelming need for emotional and educational support for parents.

Programs

Recognizing that the journey doesn’t end after the NICU stay, we developed five key programs: Project NICU, One-on-One Mentoring Program, Family Assistance Program, NICU Mom Connect, Angel Gown® Program.
